The COVID-19 pandemic has brought a new normal to the lives of many people. TOTO makes use of its technology to assist consumers navigate this New Normal.
Kaisen, or "perfection" is a cultural concept that drives the Japanese company Toto. Their most recent toilet, the WELLNESSTOILET, uses cutting edge technology to help customers achieve wellness.
Water Sense Technology
WaterSense-labeled plumbing fixtures have been approved by the EPA and can help save energy and water while providing a safe, reliable performance. TOTO USA is proud to be among the first companies to be awarded the WaterSense label for our EcoPower flush valves and commercial flushometer toilets.
Our Aquia IV Dual-flush Toilet is a great example for high-efficiency bathroom fixtures. It only uses 1.28 gallons per flush, which is less than the 1.6 grams required to meet EPA standards for an elongated toilet. The Aquia IV also features TOTO TORNADO FLUSH technology which reduces the frequency of cleaning the bowl and the necessity for additional flushes, further reduces its environmental footprint.
Another method to conserve water is by installing an low-flow showerhead. This reduces the amount of water needed while bathing or washing. Our high-efficiency Showerheads are WaterSense Rated and have the most modern technologies to ensure the highest quality performance.
Limiting water usage is essential in a world with frequent water shortages. TOTO's EcoPower Technology, which is found in the Aquia IV and NEXUS toilets, reduces water consumption by using just 1.28 gallons of water for each flush.

TOTO's elongated WCs are EPA approved for high efficiency. The elongated toilets come with an elongated or round basin and an ADA-compliant 17-19" height. We also offer a compact elongated toilet which is ideal for tight spaces and uses just 0.9 gallons per flush.
TOTO's toilets are the most sought-after in the market for both home and business use. They're not just a cheap alternative to toilet paper but they are also more efficient, since they offer a complete body cleanse that leaves you feeling rejuvenated and confident. The NEXUS Bidet is made using our EWATER+ Technology, which is made by electrolyzing tap water to create a solution containing sodium chloride ions. This produces a powerful disinfectant which kills bacteria, virus and other pathogens, while leaving your skin, as well as the environment safe.
ADA Compliant
You can find the terms "ADA compliant" and "universal height" However, not all toilets that are universal height are ADA-compliant.
The ADA standards, set by the Americans with Disabilities Act, are designed to be inclusive of all ages and abilities. This includes those with limited mobility and lower body strength. Toto incorporates these standards into its products to ensure that customers can enjoy the bathroom experience they prefer with ease of use.
TOTO's ADA-compliant toilets have an all-in-one design that instantly enhances the look of any bathroom and also offers a functional benefit over traditional two-piece designs. The single-piece designs from TOTO help with cleaning by removing the gap between bowl and tank. TOTO also offers a high-efficiency flushing system with their Eco UltraMax toilets. These toilets are water efficient and require less than 1.28 gallons of water per flush.
